New Xbox Game Pass titles leak, including Fallout 3, DOOM, Yakuza: Like A Dragon - Windows Central

Microsoft is set to host its E3 2021 press conference on Sunday, with a 90-minute live event expected to feature its biggest video game announcements of the year. The upcoming show, the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, centers around new games from in-house studios, with Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and Starfield among anticipated appearances. Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's Xbox game subscription service, will also see a heavy presence — with future additions to its library now leaking before the show.

Xbox Game Pass currently features hundreds of games across its Xbox console, PC, and cloud libraries, both from Microsoft and partnered third parties. The latest deal could bring Yakuza: Like A Dragon, one of the latest in the series launched alongside the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles in November 2020. Despite no formal announcement, keen-eyed Reddit users recently spotted references to its inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass library via the Xbox website.

Published by Sega, the title would prove lucrative for Microsoft, scoring one of its best mainline entries just months after release. In addition, the title would join eight existing Yakuza titles available via Xbox Game Pass, presenting an ideal entry point for newcomers.

Xbox Game Pass could also be gain more titles from Bethesda, with DOOM, The Evil Within 2, and Fallout 3 expected to join the service. It comes following a post from Aggiornamenti Lumia on Twitter, a reputable source for Microsoft-centric leaks, featuring the three titles positioned beside an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate logo. Windows Central understands these titles are among several planned inclusions to be announced at E3 2021.

Microsoft acquired Bethesda last September in a deal worth $7.5 billion, bringing eight new studios into the Xbox family, alongside franchises like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and DOOM. The company has been steadily filling its Xbox Game Pass libraries with Bethesda titles, as seen with other Microsoft-published games. With all three notable absences from the vast library of Xbox Game Pass titles, they'll further cement the service as its all-inclusive gaming subscription.

Microsoft is expected to announce its next Xbox Game Pass additions via its Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on June 13, scheduled for 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT / 6 p.m. BST via its official Xbox Twitch and YouTube channels.
